"Violence in Different Social Settings: National & International perspectives"
Violence in its various forms is currently recognized as a serious social problem in Israel as well as in many other countries. The aim of the proposed conference is to analyze the role of personal, interpersonal and ecological factors in violent behavior in various social settings. Among the topics to be discussed are the effects of political violence on children's aggression, violence in the community, as well as in educational and health settings. Distinguished scholars from Israel and abroad will exchange their knowledge and up to date findings, with the aim of increasing our understanding of violence and improving the ability of coping with it.
