טל כהן טביבי היא תלמידת דוקטורט במכון לקרימינולוגיה באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים, בהנחייתה של פרופ׳ טלי גל. המחקר שלה עוסק בהשתתפות ילדים ונוער, פוגעים ונפגעים, בתהליכי צדק מאחה בישראל והאופן בו ההשתתפות משפיעה על התפתחותם העתידית.
באמצעות מחקר איכותני, הנשען בעיקרו על שמיעת חוויותיהם של הנערים, המחקר שואף ללמוד, לראשונה, על האופן בו מיושמים תהליכי צדק מאחה בקרב בני נוער בישראל מתוך פרספקטיבה של זכויות ילדים.  

Tal Cohen Tabibi is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Criminology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, supervised by Prof. Tali Gal. Her research explores the participation of young people in Israel, both offenders and victims, in restorative justice processes and investigates the impact of these experiences on their subsequent development. Through a qualitative research approach, the study aims, for the first time, to examine how restorative justice practices for youth in Israel are implemented from a children's rights perspective.
